Price of the ride
The amount that counts is the one on the taximeter, under the official tariff in force for that trip. This page is not a list of fixed prices.
Inside the municipality of Antigua the urban service uses the tariff that applies to the zone. When the destination leaves the municipality, the interurban regime for the island applies. In both cases the reference is the meter, not a figure agreed in advance on this website.
The route, waiting time and any supplements in the rules are applied on the meter. The same destination can therefore change if the route or the time of day changes, and we do not publish a fixed price as if it were the official tariff.
Transfers to Fuerteventura Airport follow the same rule. A pick-up or drop-off at Centro Comercial Atlántico counts as an origin or a destination in Caleta de Fuste, not as a different fare. Give the point and, if you are flying, the flight time; the meter sets the amount.

The latest urban taxi fare order we have found for this area is the Order of 18 April 2012, published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, number 99, of 21 May 2012.
It is a text for reference. We do not turn it into a current price list here, and we do not copy its figures as today’s official price. The amount of the ride is still whatever the meter shows under the tariff in force.
September 2026
In September 2026 the Antigua town council agreed with the taxi sector a change of zoning: a specific fare for the town centre of Antigua and the rest of the municipality aligned with it.
The new amounts are not published. Until there is an official text with those figures, we do not put them on this page ahead of time.
Caleta de Fuste, El Castillo, Costa Antigua, Nuevo Horizonte and the town centre are served with the urban tariff that applies to each zone. The meter is the reference.
Puerto del Rosario, the north, the interior or Jandía are interurban trips when the service is requested. There is no fixed price on this website for them either.
We confirm availability. A spoken estimate, if you ask for one, does not replace the amount the meter shows at the end of the ride.
